The tour continues to the Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Then, we will visit the famous colonial street “Calle Jaén” where interesting museums are clustered together, followed by the visit to the open air museum from the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with a visit to the unique Moon Valley, where you will have the opportunity to walk around, and a visit to a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery.

At this point passengers are near the Illimani Mountain and are able to admire its extreme beauty from the most picturesque Illimani sightseeing point in La Paz.

ZONGO LAGOON AND VALLEY F.D.
We pick up passengers from the hotel and take them to Zongo, where the hydroelectric power station of the Bolivian Power Company is located. On the way we pass the mining village of Milluni Mine and several lagoons that provide La Paz with its drinking water, all of these at the foot of the spectacular peak of Huayna Potosí. The enormous glaciers are impressive, as is the sudden drop into the Valley, where the vegetation changes constantly as you go downhill.
Passengers have the opportunity to see varieties of orchids, gushing waterfalls, crystal clear creeks and ice covered summits.

YUNGAS - COROICO 1N/2D
We pick up passengers from the hotel to visit the subtropical area of the Yungas. The trip goes through Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 3 hours, crossing a mountain range of enormous masses of stone and rock, gradually descending to the subtropical region, where lower mountains are covered with different vegetation such as the tropical sugar, cocoa, tobacco, coca, coffee and fruit plantations. The scenery is unforgettable and very impressive. Lodging in a rustic top tourist class hotel.

SAMAIPATA RUINS F.D.
Sightseeing: The most important example of rupestrian architecture in the American Continent. This beautiful pre-Columbian monument lies on the top of a mountain. Pre-Columbian natives carved a natural formation of sandstone 250 m. high by 50 m. wide. These carvings are pumas, jaguars, crosses, niches and many other enigmatic figures, which have not been clearly defined. At the bottom of this large carved rock amidst vegetation are remains of a large pre-Spanish village. El Fuerte de Samaipata is 120 Km. west of Santa Cruz, on the road to Cochabamba.
We will visit the archeological museum, the “Cuevas” waterfalls and “El Chorro” on our return to Santa Cruz.

COCHABAMBA CITY TOUR H.D.
Cochabamba is the city of eternal spring. The city lies in a fertile green bowl, 25 km. long by 10 km. wide, set in a landscape of fields and low hills. To the northwest lies the Tunari rising 5035 m., the highest peak in central Bolivia.
Sightseeing: Four hours visiting the most interesting places in the city: “El Prado” Boulevard; the main square “14 de Septiembre” where the Metropolitan Cathedral is located; The University of San Simón´s Archaeological Museum; the “Heroínas de la Coronilla” historical monument. Shopping at the typical market called “la Cancha” where you will be able to find handicrafts, silver and gold works, weavings, musical instruments, etc. The tour will end at the “Cristo de la Concordia” monument where you will enjoy a magnificent view.
TORO TORO NATIONAL PARK 2N/3D
Day 1: 30 minute flight to Toro-Toro in a small aircraft. Toro-Toro is located on the border between the departments of Cochabamba and Potosí. At arrival, accommodations will be arranged in a comfortable resting place. A 2-hour walk to the “Pozas Bateas” or Batea pools. During the walk you will be able to appreciate ancient paintings made over 1000 years. Lunch. Rest. A three hour walk(to and back) to the “Siete Vueltas” hill where you will be able to observe the remains of fossilized plant and animals. Dinner.
Day 2: Breakfast. Two hour walk (10km) to the Uma-Jalanta Caverns. Inside are stalagmite and stalactite formations, underground lakes, one of the few places where you may find a rare breed of blind catfish including several cascades and waterfalls. Lunch during the walk. Continuing of the walk as far as the site of the Dinosaur and Camesaur foot prints, ancient remains of the Mesozoic Period over 80 millions years ago. Dinner and Lodging.
Day 3: Breakfast. Rise at dawn for a 3-hour round-trip walk to visit “ El Vergel” o “Waca Senga” (Cow’s nose). You will enjoy relaxing baths in crystal-clear pools formed by cascades. Return to town. Lunch. Flight back to Cochabamba.

LA PAZ - UYUNI - LA PAZ 2N/3D
Day 1: LA PAZ - ORUNO -UYUNI
Departure by bus from La Paz to Oruro; continuation by train to the town of Uyuni, arrival late at night, transfer to a hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: UYUNI - SALT DESERT OF UYUNI -UYUNI
Breakfast. Departure to the Salt Desert., visit to the Inkawasi Island, also known as Fish Island, famous for its gigantic cacti. Here we have a typical lunch. Return to the hotel in Uyuni, dinner . Late departure by train to Oruro.
Day 3: ORURO - LA PAZ
Arrival in Oruro in the morning. Continue by bus to La Paz.

LA PAZ - UYUNI - LAGOONS - UYUNI - LA PAZ 4N/5D
Day 1 : LA PAZ - ORURO - UYUNI
Departure by bus from the city of La Paz to Oruro, continue by train to the town of Uyuni. Overnight stay.
Day 2:SUYUNI - SALT DESERT - SAN JUAN
Departure towards the Salt Desert, specifically to Inkawasi Island, also known as Fish Island, this island is located in the heart of the Flats and it is the largest of a group which represents an isolated ecosystem. The island is full of a cactus species that reach a height of up to eight meters. Added to the background this is an impressive landscape. After lunch we will cross the flats heading towards the town of San Juan, where we will be staying at a local hostal (with private bathroom and showers). Visit to the small museum of the town. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: SAN JUAN - LAGUNA COLORADA (RED LAGOON)
After breakfast we will go to the “Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon), crossing on the way the Siloli Desert where this interesting tree-shaped rock is located, we may also be able to see the famous “llamas”, “Vicuñas” and a rabbit-like squirrel called “Vizcacha”. The Laguna Colorada is classified as high Andean water, counting with borax islands in its northeastern and southeastern sections, the red color is due to the fine red sediments on the surface, as well as the pigmentation of certain types of algae. This lagoon is populated by three species of flamingos (Among them the famous James), making it one of the few places on earth where these are found together, sharing nesting places. At this point we are already in the Eduardo Avaroa National Andean Fauna Reserve, once we arrive to the Red Lagoon we will stay in its lodge (very simple accommodations, basic sanitary services). We will make an excursion through the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: LAGUNA COLORADA - LAGUNA VERDE (GREEN LAGOON) - SAN CRISTOBAL
The trip continues toward the south, to the place called “Sol de Mañana” or Morning Sun where one can see fumaroles, geysers and volcanic holes which take you back to the origins of the formation of the Earth. The final point of the descent is the “Laguna Verde” of Green Lagoon, an awesome water mirror resembling a giant emerald with a singular shine in the afternoon, its color is caused by the high magnesium content in the water. Next to this lagoon lies the Licancahur Volcano (5,868 meters high). We return to Laguna Colorada in order to take the road to San Cristobal town visiting on the way the town of Alota and the Rocks Valley famous for its gigantic rock formations. Once in San Cristobal we will stay in the San Cristobal Hostal (private bathrooms), dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: SAN CRISTOBAL - UYUNI - ORURO - LA PAZ
After brakfast we will return to Uyuni city, visiting “Pampa Colorada” (Red Flat) and the trains cemetery plus a brief tour of the city. Dinner and day use of a hotel until it’s time to depart by train to Oruro, at arrival transfer to the Bus Station to take a bus to La Paz. Arrival in La Paz next morning.
