Along the Panamerican Highway you will encounter diverse and friendly Andean villages and colonial cities like Riobamba, located at the foot hills of Chimborazo (6310 masl) the highest mountain of Ecuador, and surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain ranges such as Altar (5319 masl), Tungurahua (5016 masl) and Carihuayrazo.

AVENUE OF THE VOLCANOES AND TRAIN - 2 DAYS
Day 1: Departure from Quito through the "Avenue of the Volcanoes" admiring the beautiful Andean landscape. We will make a brief stop at the Cotopaxi National Park and then arrive to Riobamba where you will be accommodated in a typical hacienda of the region.
Day 2: after an early breakfast you will start your journey by train from Riobamba to the "Devil's Nose" a magnificent work incrusted in the Andes (about 7 hours of ride).
During the ride you will enjoy wonderful Andean landscapes with the Chimborazo volcano and the many small villages along the way.
Return to Quito.

AVENUE OF THE VOLCANOES AND TRAIN - 3 DAYS
Day 1: Departure from Quito aprox. at 08:00a.m. enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Ecuadorian highlands trough the famous "Volcano Avenue". Ideal for photos. Visit to the Cotopaxi National Park Lunch included and departure to the city of Riobamba to spend the night in a typical hacienda f the region, Lodgement and Dinner included.
Day 2: Breakfast and departure by train aprox. at 7:00 a.m. From Riobamba train station to the Devil Nose a unique piece of engineering in the middle of the Andes (ride of 7 hours aprox. Includes a Box Lunch). After the train ride visit to the Ingapirca Inca Ruins, the biggest Inca archaeological complex in Ecuador from the XV and XVI centuries, (ticket to the complex not included) trough the ride you will be to watch the weavers of the famous "Panama Huts" artisans tipycal from the area. Lunch not Included. Arrive to the City of Cuenca to spend the night. Lodge included.
Day 3: Breakfast and city tour of the city of Cuenca visiting the Calderon Park, new and old Cathedral The park of the Flowers, the City Museum and modern art, the Cañari-Incas of all saints ruins, Canon of the Tomebamba and Turi River in the afternoon transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Quito (air ticket not included). Lunch not included
Transfer to your hotel and assistance at the airport in Quito.
